The Time Continuance

Life is not a question of how much time we have,
but what we choose to do with the time we are given.
Sitting still, waiting, not moving—
is that what we are meant to do?
Or is there something more?
To move endlessly, chasing an invisible finish line—
is that the end game?
Is that all there is?
Perhaps to truly live
is to feel the ocean’s breeze on your skin,
or stand atop a hill
watching the mountains roll beneath the sun.
To live is to plant seeds
and patiently watch them grow,
tending them day after day.
It is not the destination that defines us,
but the quiet joy of the journey
and the wisdom gathered along the way.
To live is to have hope—
to move through sadness and pain
believing that on the other side
time continues.
To be alive is to feel energy
flowing through your bloodstream,
even when the world has fated you
with imperfect blood.
Does the universe guide us toward our fate,
or do we create our own destiny?
Perhaps that truth lies buried,
waiting to be discovered.
Time can heal the soul
if we care for it gently.
We are the caretakers of our lives,
and every moment is a gift.
To do and to be
is to live.
There is no more time to waste—
only space to live a life
full of smiles and sorrow,
bewilderment and wonder.
Time cannot always heal
the wounds in our blood.
But every tick and every tock
is another chance to feel alive.
So do the most you can.
Be the best you can.
In every moment
we are given.
