Onco-Ballet™ is a gentle, modified ballet class that helps you enjoy movement during or after cancer treatment. This is a limited-time class series taught by an Onco-Ballet Foundation instructor. The class follows the structure of a traditional ballet class, with many modifications to support different abilities. It aims to build confidence, support healing, and create a sense of community through movement.
Please have a sturdy chair nearby to use as a ballet barre. You can wear socks or be barefoot—no special footwear is needed. Participants should be able to stand without assistance.
Please talk to your doctor before starting any new exercise routine. Visit www.oncoballet.org to learn more about Onco-Ballet Foundation.
