Social media offers young adult cancer survivors valuable opportunities for support and community, but it can also heighten feelings of loneliness and disconnection. In this talk, we will explore the social media paradox—how being connected online doesn’t always translate into feeling truly seen or understood. Attendees will learn why curated digital spaces may deepen isolation and gain practical strategies to foster authentic, meaningful connections both online and offline in survivorship.
