Dr. Minco Battiwalla, MD, MS, Director of Outcomes Research, Sarah Cannon Transplant and Cell Therapy Network will break it down; what is important to look out for – such as infections, cGVHD, risk of relapse and why an individual long term follow up survivorship plan is key.
Additionally, Meagan Jourdan-Brown, LCSW, CLL-R of The CAREPort, LLS will tackle the many psychosocial considerations, focusing on how to get the help you need, manage anxiety and fatigue and maximize your quality of life.
Survivor Beth Ades, of Iowa, will share her transplant story and inspire you to get through it and get on with life.
Jennifer Gilette, nmbtLINK’s LMSW will host this program. There will be plenty of time for questions after the presentations. This program will be recorded and available with slides afterwards.
