To listen to what someone else is going through is an extraordinary gift to offer. By simply listening to the challenges of another, we can actually reduce the amount of time the person feels sad. For that individual, the mere act of expressing what is inside can be healing. Listening requires emotional strength, patience, openness and a real desire to understand.
Imerman Angel Mentors + Mentees and the Wellness House community are all warmly welcomed to join us as we explore how to cultivate compassionate listening skills as we engage with loved ones impacted by cancer.
