Our Magazine Release Events are in-person gatherings that take place across the country to celebrate the release of our magazine while meeting others in the adolescent and young adult (AYA) cancer community.

Our goals for these events are:

• Using storytelling to build a sense of community, so people feel less alone in facing cancer
• Amplifying the regional and national resources available to the AYA cancer community
• Showcasing the new Elephants and Tea magazine while celebrating the vulnerability and relatability of the authors’ words

Schedule of Events:

Facial Workshop (10:00-11:15)
Lunch (11:30-12:30)
Healing Through Writing Workshop (12:45-2:30)
Movement Workshop Powered by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (2:45-3:45)
Creative Art Workshop (4:00-5:00)
Storytelling Soiree (6:00-9:00)
