Missing in Survivorship: Provider Insights on AYA Recruitment Barriers with Christabel K. Cheung, PhD, MSW
Drawing on qualitative and survey data from 32 supportive care agencies, this study analyzes provider insights into the persistent challenges of recruiting AYAs into psychosocial services. Findings delineate key conceptual domains shaping AYA participation and reveal multilevel barriers that suppress engagement, clarifying where current practices fail to meet AYA needs and signaling the importance of targeted strategies to ensure equitable access to psychosocial care.
