A Fresh Way to Navigate Life with Cancer
Cancer impacts more than just your body. It can shake your sense of identity, purpose, and connection, especially in young adulthood when so much of life feels like it is just getting started. Whether you are in active treatment, figuring out life after treatment, or supporting a friend or partner, the emotional toll can feel overwhelming.
That is why A Fresh Chapter created AFC 101, a free, 90-minute virtual workshop. This interactive session introduces simple language, frameworks, and tools that can help you begin to explore the complicated emotions that often come with cancer.
Led by peer facilitators who have faced cancer themselves, AFC 101 offers four practical tools to help you better understand and share what you are feeling. With thoughtful prompts and small-group conversations, you will discover new ways to process the emotional side of cancer while finding space to reflect, connect, and take a meaningful step forward.
This session welcomes anyone diagnosed under the age of 40, as well as caregivers seeking AYA resources or support. If this workshop falls within a timeframe that is convenient for you, come as you are, from wherever you are.
