Session #5 – Writing in the Care of AYAs Facing Cancer

Presented by Vinayak Venkataraman, MD

In this session, we will review why narrative medicine and reflective writing are important tenants of caring for AYAs. We will discuss some ideas we can support reflective writing for both AYAs and for providers caring for AYAs. Dr. Venkataraman will also share how he has learned about caring for AYAs facing illness through writing.
