DESCRIPTION:Young Breast Cancer Symposium\nRegister here\nFebruary 24th, 2024 @ 8:30am – 1:30pm (EST)\nThis symposium will address the unique challenges that young adult breast cancer survivors and metastatic thrivers face, featuring two survivor and thriver panels allowing provider to hear from patients what their care needs are. The keynote session will be about mental health. Symposium break out sessions will address various topics including breast cancer risk, financial and legal issues in cancer, quality of life, patient-provider communication, clinical trials, and genetic cancers in families. General awareness about young breast cancer including risk factors and symptoms will also be discussed. There will be plenty of learning opportunities tailored towards survivors, thrivers, community health workers, and health care professionals who work in both primary care and oncology settings.\n
